This class will participate in the annual recital as well as two local dance competitions at the beginner level, giving dancers valuable performance experience and confidence on stage. A minimum of one year of dance experience is required, and current enrollment in ballet is highly recommended to support overall technique and growth.
Contemporary Dance is a versatile and expressive style that blends elements of ballet, jazz, and modern dance. Dancers will explore movement through technique, musicality, creativity, and emotional storytelling while developing strength, flexibility, and artistry. Classes focus on floor work, turns, leaps, improvisation, and performance quality, helping dancers build confidence and a deeper connection to movement.
