A popular offering at Dansations, lyrical dance encourages students to connect deeply with music and movement by interpreting lyrics to express emotion, storytelling, and feeling.

Dancers will develop strength, flexibility, control, and fluidity while learning expressive choreography that emphasizes both technique and artistry. Because of its strong technical foundation, we recommend that students are also enrolled in ballet while taking lyrical, as it greatly enhances overall performance and growth as a dancer.

Dress Code

Girls need a leotard for all classes, jazz shorts optional. Boys need black dance pants and a tee shirt.
