Jazz in the Fusion Team Program allows dancers to take their recreational training to the next level in a fun and supportive environment. This class will participate in the annual recital as well as two local dance competitions at the beginner level, giving dancers valuable performance experience and confidence on stage. A minimum of one year of dance experience is required, and current enrollment in ballet is highly recommended to support overall technique and growth.
Jazz is an upbeat and energetic style of dance that blends classic jazz movements with modern dance trends. At Dansations, dancers work to improve flexibility, strength, jumps, turns, and combinations while building strong technical skills and performance quality. Since many elements of jazz are rooted in ballet, students who take both styles often see improvements in musical timing, precision, and overall technique.
