Specialty Showcase
Fusion and Company Team dancers may be assigned to perform in Solo, Duet, Trio, or Small Group specialty dances.
Specialty groups are assigned in December.
When assignments are announced, it will specify whether the dance is:
Recital & Competition – the dance will compete and also be performed in the showcase/recital.
Competition Only – the dance will compete but will not be performed in the showcase.
Because of time limitations, each dancer may perform only one specialty number in the showcase, even if they are involved in multiple specialty dances.
So, if a dancer is in more than one specialty group, only one of those routines can be included in the showcase performance.
