What You Need For Class

Leotards and dance clothing can be purchased at Bailey Slipper Shop, The So Danca website, Walmart, Target or Kohls or many other retail stores.
Tights for class and recital listed at the bottom of the page.
Baby & Me/Combo Classes
- Girls: Any color leotard and tights for all classes, skirts are optional.
- Girls Shoes: White ribbon-tie tap shoes with elastic snaps (BSS 9625), and ballet slippers (any color).
- Boys: Black dance pants and a tee shirt.
- Boys Shoes: Black lace-up tap shoes and any color ballet shoe.
- Baby & Me Adults: Any clothing that you can move freely in, Ex. T-shirt and yoga pants. Dry sneakers – clean of snow, rain water, mud, dust, and stones.
Princess Lyrical
- Girls: Any color leotard and tights for all classes, ballet skirt optional. Hair should be pulled back in a neat bun.
- Girls Shoes: Pink split-sole ballet shoes (SD16).
- Boys: Black dance pants and a tee shirt.
- Boys Shoes: Black split-sole ballet shoes (SD16).
Tap/Jazz Split
- Girls: Any color leotard and tights for all classes. Skirts, shorts, or leggings are optional.
- Girls Shoes: Any tap shoes (Dancers will not perform tap in the recital so any tap shoe is acceptable). So Danca pull-on canvas jazz shoes (JZ75), Sand color or Mocha color for darker skin tones. Dancers will perform Jazz in the recital.
- Boys: Black dance pants and a tee shirt.
- Boys Shoes: Black lace-up tap shoes. So Danca black pull-on canvas jazz shoes (JZ75). Dancers will perform Jazz in the recital.

Tap
- Girls: Any color leotard and tights for all classes, shorts optional.
- Girls Shoes: Black oxford tap shoes.
- Boys: Black dance pants and a tee shirt.
- Boys Shoes: Black oxford tap shoes.
Hip Hop
- Girls & Boys: Loose fitting clothing that you can comfortably move in.
- Girls & Boys Shoes: Any all-Black sneakers – please no white or any colors on the shoe. Must be a sneaker and not a dress shoe.
Acro
- Girls: Any color leotard and footless or stirrup tights for all classes, shorts optional.
- Girls Shoes: No shoes
- Boys: Pants or shorts and a tee shirt that you can comfortably move in.
- Boys Shoes: No shoes
Recital Tights
So Danca tights. Specific tight styles and colors needed for your dancers’ costumes can be found in your costume notes that were passed out with the costume. Pink tights are Theatrical Pink, tan tights are Light Suntan. Dancers can wear any tights to class, we recommend footless, or convertible if no shoes are required for class (Ex Acro classes) Specific recital tights will be indicated on costume instruction sheets that will go home with the costume. Recital tights will be one on the 3 options below.
